The three experiences that show the struggles I had with fitting in include the following:
- Scenario 1: I moved to a new school. As a black student in the midst of white people, it was tough at first and challenging. With time, I got used to everyone and realized that they were all amazing.
- Scenario 2: While growing up, I couldn't read for long hours, I always slept off while reading, this was challenging for me because I was always sleeping anytime I was reading with my friends. I learned to understand my body better and could read for long hours. I also ensured that I didn't go late to bed anymore.
- Scenario 3: I'm an introvert and moving into a new neighborhood was challenging for me. It was hard fitting in at first. Then, I went out more, got to know lots of people and this helped me in getting to know more about the area.
