Dusan had $49.60 in his checking account. He wrote one check for $24.40 and another check for $25.49. Dusan says that because he always rounds to the nearest dollar, he will always have more money in his account than his estimate. Is Dusan correct? Explain.

not necessarily because if the amount was say $50.03 and he rounded it to $50.00 then he would be under doing it and he would be short 3 cents
