This includes the following: Running, swimming, weightlifting, and walking. Most importantly, I need to improve my flexibility skills. Resting heart rate is the number of beats at rest, maximum heart rate is the maximum beats during exercise, and heart rate reserve is maximum heart rate minus heart rate at rest.

Heat rate and exercise

  • Heart rate refers to the number of beats per minute (at rest, the heart rate is equal to 60-100 beats per min).

  • Target heart is a percentage (generally between 50-85 %) of the maximum heart rate.

  • Muscular strength can be defined as the amount of force it is possible to put out.

  • Muscular endurance refers to the ability to resist fatigue in aerobic and/or anaerobic exercise.

  • Flexibility refers to the ability of joints to move in an unrestricted range of movements.

  • Body mass index (BMI) is a measure calculated by using the body mass and height of an individual which can be expressed as kg/m².
