Ashley wants to find out how much money she has in her piggy bank. She has x number of quarters and y number of dimes and says that the total in her piggy bank is 0.1x + 0.25y. Is she correct? Justify your answer.

Answer :

Amount from dimes would be: 0.1y
Amount from quarters = 0.25x

So, total amount = 0.25x + 0.1y

So, she is not correct
