Write an equation for a function that has a graph with the given characteristics.The shape of y = |x| that has been stretch vertically by a factor of 8.The answer I wrote was y = |1/8 x| not sure if it's right or wrong

When a function is being stretch vertically we multiply by a k factor in order to make the function bigger, now since we are talking about an absolute value function if we multiply the two lines tend to compress and be closer to each other.

The correct function should be
