Julie reads that 1 pint is equivalent to 0.472 liters.
First, he asked his teacher how many liters are there in 1 pint and answered 0.47 liters
Then he asked his parents and said 0.5 liters.
They are both correct, why?
becayse the exact value if 0.473 when you round this to its nearest hundredths, the answer would be 0.47 and when you round it to its nearest tenths, the answer will be 0.5. Thus both answers are correct.
